What is it going to take?

It is not message that offends it is the vehicle of delivery. I strongly believe in freedom of speech, I do not support protest during patriotic displays.

Why is it people try to shove some political views down our proverbial throats with protests during patriotic events?

Injustices prevail because of inaction, protest is not action it is a wish for someone else to make the change. If you want real change the mindset must be changed.

Seldom is a problem one sided therefore change is us facing the truth and exacting changes from that mutual exchange.

We as a country are so concerned with political correctness we have failed to look at the truth.

We are not perfect and never will be, it is our differences and faults that make us who we are. Education and conversation lead to more understanding.

It is our inaction that allows the current environment to fester.

I do not believe that only blacks and hispanics are the only ones who have been abused by police.

I'm not trying to discount their experiences just trying to explain you are not  the only one; you are not chosen because you are a person of color you are chosen because of your attitude.

Most people do not know the difference between prejudice and bigotry.

Bigotry has to do with judging someone because of race, color or religion.

Prejudice is self preservation, it is simply making a judgment call because of a situation or previous situations that have caused harm or could cause harm.

I think the news media needs to do the research on police brutality and show the number of arrests with and without abuse, how many people and the numbers by ethnic background of arrests and deaths caused by police.

I sincerely think the news media is using sensationalism to sell papers or advertising not reporting the facts just rabble rousing.
